The
18th European Colloid and Interface Society Conference will take place in 2004 at
the Hotel Meliá Almerimar ****, Almerimar (El Ejido), Almería, Spain. The conference will start on
Sunday,
September 19 and finish on Friday, September 24.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists working on colloid and interface science. This rapidly growing field includes the physics, chemistry, biology and chemical engineering of complex fluids as well as various applied research areas in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and oil industries. The conference will consist of plenary lectures, topical symposia and poster sessions.
Selected
contributions from this conference will be published in a special issue
of Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects (Elsevier)
after peer review of the papers.
