Manuel Sánchez Pérez, PhD, is a Professor of Marketing (Catedrático de Universidad) at the University of Almeria, Spain. He has authored several books and book chapters, and more than 100 articles. His research has been published in sevel academic marketing and management journals. He has also supervised several doctoral theses, and led several research projects from competitive calls.
Manuel is currently in an intermediate stage of his career, striving to advance in his marketing insights. He is very concerned with the practical relevance of his research and creating value for companies and their clients. He has collaborated with organizations in the public and private sectors, consulting on the marketing challenges that they face.
He was Head of the Department of Economics and Business and Vice-Dean of the College of Economics and Business of the University of Almeria (Spain). Currently, he is an academic member of the Committee of Social and Legal Sciences 2, of the VERIFICA-MONITOR program - National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA). Also, he is President of the Marketing division of the Spanish Academy of Management (ACEDE).
Manuel completed his PhD in Marketing at the University of Valencia, Spain. He also holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Valencia, and a BA in Business Informatics from the Almeria Business School (University of Granada, Spain).
