Manuel is a marketing scholar, specialized in marketing, consumer behavior and knowledge creation. He is a Tenured Full Professor of Marketing at the University of Almeria since 2002. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Valencia, and a BA in Business Informatics from the Almeria Business School (University of Granada). He completed his PhD in Marketing at the University of Valencia. He has carried out several research stays in Belgium and Ireland.
Manuel is a regular reviewer for some of the main scientific journals in the field of marketing and management. Manuel has coordinated several research projects and knowledge transfer contracts with companies.Manuel has received several research awards, such as the Literati Network Awards for Excellence for the Outstanding Paper, the best article published in the Revista Española de Investigación de Marketing-ESIC, the ASEDAS award, or the Marketing Trends Award for his contribution to retailing.
