Profile
María del Mar Sánchez Pérez is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philology at the University of Almería (Spain). Graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada, she completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Almeria, where she obtained her Ph.D. in Arts and Humanities - Cum Laude & International mention and Ph.D. extraordinary award. Dr. Sánchez is a Sworn Translator and Interpreter appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She is a member of the research group "HUM-859: English language: Applied Linguistics and Literary Studies", and her main research interests include English Language acquisition/learning (EFL/ESL), English-teaching Methodology, bilingual education, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), English-Medium Instruction (EMI) and Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education (ICLHE), and Translation.
