Description
Among the aspects to be studied in this course, the following should be highlighted:
1. Linguistic, artistic and humanistic training in Cultural Studies
2. Training a recruitment in areas of knowledge that respond to new professional perspectives
3. Training in analysis and criticism of different artistic manifestations
The course is divided into three thematic blocks:
Block I – Art in English-speaking countries
‣ Classical arts vs contemporary art products
‣ Art manifestations in English-speaking countries: from Stonehenge to Andy Warhol
‣ Cinema
Block II – Literature and other artistic fields
‣ Painting, music, video
‣ Literature and film
Block III – Mass media: newspapers, magazines, television, the internet, social networks
‣ Newspapers, magazine, radio and television
‣ Television–a powerful tool
