Profile

Madalina Armie earned a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature in 2014 from the University of Almeria. She received the Patricia Shaw Research Award from the Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies (AEDEAN). She completed her Ph.D. on the contemporary Irish short story at the turn of the twenty-first century at the University of Almeria in 2019, for which she obtained the EIDUAL Dissertation Award for Best Dissertation Prize in 2021. Her current areas of research include the contemporary Irish short story and Irish women's writing. She is currently teaching at the University of Almeria.
