Dimitrios Tsokanos obtained his Bachelor's degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He earned his Master's degree in English studies at the University of Almeria with an honorary distinction. He is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation in which he attempts to trace back the Hellenic influence in the works of Edgar Allan Poe. His research focuses on the field of American literature and, more specifically, on Edgar Allan Poe's tales and poems.
