Getting to hotels
Here there is a map of the Almería’s center where hotels locations are indicated.
● From the airport to hotels and back:
Taxi: The easiest way is to take a taxi, which costs about 18 euros. Many of you are probably coming in the
same flight from Madrid and chances are that you know each other, so sharing a taxi could be convenient.
Bus: There is a bus stop to the left of entrance/exit doors in the arrivals area of the airport. Take
bus number 30.
To be sure you are on the way to the city center ask the driver. Get off at last stop, called 'Gregorio Marañon-La Salle'. This stop is indicated
in the above map (number 1 inside green circle) and there you can see the way to your hotel. All hotels are walking distance from here. Bus number
30 passes by every 50 minutes. A ticket costs 1.05 euros and you can buy it in the bus. By clicking
here you can get more information.
To go to the airport on your departure day you can take either a taxi or the same bus in the stop 'Gregorio Marañon-La Salle'.
● From the bus-train station to hotels:
Hotel NH Ciudad de Almería, Hotel Embajador and Gran Hotel Almería are easily reached by foot if your luggage is not heavy. For
the rest of hotels, it would be convenient to take a taxi.

On campus
Here you can find a map of our campus where the relevant buildings for the conference are numbered.
Conference venue: We will use two locations:
Graduation Hall of Lecture Room Building IV (Sala de grados del aulario IV), for the registration and opening ceremony on Monday,
from 9:00 to 11:00. (Number 4 in the map.)
Room 6 of Lecture Room Building III (Aula 6 del aulario III),
for the rest of the conference. (Number 3
.)
Coffee breaks will take place in the VIP Room of the University Canteen.
(Number 5
.)
Lunch options: The most convenient option, especially for those not speaking Spanish, is the University Canteen. The
menu costs 5 euros and includes: a drink, bread, salad, two dishes, and dessert.
TThe cafeteria of the Economics Studies Building (number 7) also offers a menu for the same price. Here you are served,
so skills in Spanish are needed. The place is small and it is often difficult to find a table if you come after 14:00.
In the cafeteria of the Student building (number 6) you can have snacks and sandwiches. In the indoor patio of this building,
there is a shop where you can buy drinks and sandwiches to take away.
The cafeteria of the Central building’s (number 8) specialities are mixed dishes (platos combinados), salads, and sandwiches.
Please be aware that meat (especially pork and chicken) are often used in the cuisine of this region. There are little options
on campus either for vegetarians or persons with dietary restrictions.
Take also into account that the staff do not speak English in most of the cafeterías.
ATM: There are several machines in the campus office of the saving bank Cajamar (number 11). If you
did not do it yet, you can pay here in cash your registration fee or dinner for an accompanying person once the organizers provide you with a payment receipt.
