Presentation

I am professor of Applied Mathematics (currently, part time) at the University of Almería, and since 2018 I am also Professor of Mathematics at Department of Mathematics of Baylor University (USA). 

 

My current research interests are Approximation Theory, Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions and applications, Riemann-Hilbert problems and asymptotic analysis, Complex Analysis, Numerical Analysis, and Mathematical Modelling, in particular, in Ophthalmology and Vision Science. 

 

I am member of the Research Group "Approximation Theory and Orthogonal Polynomials" (ATOP), as well as Associated Researcher at the Institute Carlos I of Theoretical and Computational Physics of the Granada University.
