The Elvira project addresses a wide range of activities related to the area of probabilistic graphical models, mainly Bayesian networks and decision graphs, comprising:

• Basic research on learning, propagation, classification, etc.

• Practical applications.

• Software development.  

The staff mainly consists of Computer scientists, Statisticians and Mathematicians, with the collaboration of researchers from areas as Physics, Medicine and Agricultural Engineering.
