Francisco G. Montoya, full professor at the Engineering Department and the Electrical Engineering Section, University of Almeria, Spain, received his M.S. from the University of Malaga and his Ph.D. from the University of Granada, Spain. He has published over 90 papers in JCR journals and conferences and is the author or coauthor of books published by MDPI, RA-MA and others.

The main interests are related to geometric algebra, power theory, power quality, smart metering, smart grids, and evolutionary optimisation applied to power systems and renewable energy. Francisco G. Montoya has an h-index of25 (Scopus-Elsevier).
