This is a virtual lab about microalgae production in raceway photobioreactors, which can be used for the understanding of modelling and control aspects of the process, as well as for learing/teaching purposes. Any microalage strain can be analyzed by setting the corresponding biological parameters. Moreover, a solar radiation model is included, allowing simulating any localtion of the reactor around the world. Manual and automatic operations for the diluation rate, harvesting rate, and control of the main variables as pH or dissolved oxygen, can be simulated. The application can be run using any web brower and from any device: smarthphone, table or computer. Do not require any additional software. A downloaded version is also availabe in case the user wants to run the virtual lab offile in the computer. The simulation restuls can be stored in a ASCI-format data file that can be loaded in any other environment, like Matlab or spreadsheets for instance.
